  1. Archive Binge: Smoother create feed workflow

The current workflow for creating an archive binge RSS feed is functional but not very smooth. I have to click on one button, then click on the edit button to customize, save, then go back to the comic info area, click on the RSS feed to subscribe to it.

An improvement to the creation workflow would be the following:
    1. User clicks on the create button.
    2. The site displays basic settings for editing, with a save or cancel button.
    3. User saves, the site displays the default archive binge box layout.
3a. The user cancels, the site goes back…

  4. Ignore my previous report of issue with FireFox 13, works fine in Chrome!

I reported that FireFox 13 busts the widget that goes next, previous page and bookmarks what you've read. It IS still busted in FireFox but works fine in latest version of Chrome!

  5. Some of the comics do not show updating at all even though the comic actually is still updating all the time its not showing in Comic Rocket

The comics will show only having maybe 2 -30ish pages in Comic Rocket when in reality the comic will have 80+ pages and still be actively updating. Is there a way to fix this?

  6. Allow a per comic setting of "only show me again once n new pages have been published"

Some comics have very slow progression and a single page is barely worth reading on its own. For those kinds of comics it would be nice if one could set Comic Rocket to display that comic again for reading only once a customizable number of new pages have been published, perhaps with an additional setting to show it anyway once no new page has been added for a certain amount of time.

  7. Fix the Scenes from a Multiverse feed

Your set for Scenes from a Multiverse ends at #471, http://amultiverse.com/comic/2013/05/20/space-hustle-into-darkness/ from May 2013, but the comic is still running, currently with http://amultiverse.com/comic/2015/06/10/baby-its-cold-outside/. Can that be fixed?

  8. Archive Binge: Customize Feed Name

This is not completely necessary as most RSS readers allow custom RSS feed names, but it'd be nice to be able to do it from Comic Rocket on a more global scale (IE setting a template name for the feed for all archive binge feeds). I'd settle for feed name setting in the archive binge settings.

At the very least I find "Custom feed for <comic name>" to be annoying, if only because my reader cuts off the names of feeds in the display window a little after "for" so I have a hard time figuring out what comic I'm…

  9. Consult with authors before wrapping their content

It's sketchy that there is work you're wrapping which hasn't been approved by the author. This is disrespectful at best, and folks who have their own idea about how they want their work treated w.r.t. social networks would rightly feel you're poaching their value proposition.

  10. Filter sites by tags

Some sites are a mesh of the webcomic (or multiple webcomics) but also have lots of other material. For example, I tried adding Star Trek Problems, which is an occasional feature on The Robot's Pajamas, but it added every page on the site from that point on. If there was a way to filter by category or tag it would allow sporadic webcomics like this.

    http://www.comic-rocket.com/read/star-trek-problems/1

That would also allow you to filter out blog posts for comics like Dork Tower.

  12. Create a Browser with the navbar integrated

If you can create a Chrome based browser with the navbar function integrated into it, that would probably fix the issues we have with comics that have framekillers programmed into their site.
It would be similar to navigation with the bookmarklets, but with the information included in the navbar.
This may be able to be done with a browser addon instead.

  13. Hominids Scraping Broken

At present, suppport for Hominids appears to scrap the top navigation and not every new comic issue. There are currently 4 chapters with some 25 pages per chapter ... CR is showing only 9 pages, much of which are just nav pointers.

  16. Handle refusal to grant permission

If choose to login with Twitter, then change my mind and refuse to grant permission, it goes on like I granted permission, then gets stuck in "no internet connection" error until I log out.

I couldn't try with Facebook because of another bug already reported.

  18. Let us flag a comic as broken

so that the author can see that there is something wrong and know it's not showing up for at least some readers. I've been trying to find a way to let someone know some of my comics are broken (at least one worked last week and doesn't now) and if it exists, it's not somewhere easy to find.

Some comics like oglaf have age barriers that can’t be clicked away and permanently block content. Can this be fixed?

  20. Remove user avatars from under the comic listings

When looking through the comics available on Comic Rocket, you see a bar with the comic title and underneath that, is a row of thumbnails showing the avatars of Comic Rocket users who read that comic.

This isn't really useful information, though. I don't think anyone cares whether any given unknown Comic Rocket user reads a comic. People might be interested to see if a *friend* of theirs reads the comic, and they might be interested in the total number of readers, so they can see if it's a popular series. But I don't really care if RandomUser7421 is reading…
